Kimberley College: A Holistic Approach to Lifelong Learning

Situated in a semi-rural bushland setting at Carbrook—on the border of Redlands and Logan—Kimberley College offers students a calm, stress-free environment to learn, grow, and thrive. Catering for Prep to Year 12, the co-educational, non-denominational school takes a holistic approach to education, committed to graduating students with integrity, confidence, and social responsibility.

At Kimberley College, success is defined by more than academic outcomes. The school values each student’s individual journey and fosters a culture where character, leadership, and critical thinking are nurtured alongside traditional learning. Drawing from the Marzano educational framework, the curriculum provides authentic opportunities for students to engage meaningfully, show empathy, and become positive contributors to their communities.

A cornerstone of this commitment is the College’s comprehensive Wellbeing Program, embedded across all year levels. This program supports the development of social and emotional competencies through a range of initiatives such as Invictus wellbeing presentations for students and parents, participation in whole-school events like the World’s Greatest Shave, and a peer mentoring program where senior student volunteers support Year 7 students transitioning to high school. Students also benefit from access to the Student Hub and can take an active role in school life through the Student Council.

In the senior years, students can tailor their learning through a choice of University ATAR pathways, vocational education, or apprenticeships—ensuring they graduate with direction and purpose.

Beyond the classroom, Kimberley College is known for its rich extracurricular offerings, including an instrumental music program, public speaking, debating, and representative and premier sports. The College is also home to distinguished football and dance academies, all designed to help students discover and pursue their unique passions.

At Kimberley College, education is about empowering the whole student—academically, socially, and emotionally—to lead with confidence and compassion in an ever-changing world.
