Work is now underway on a major new housing community designed specifically for older Australians in Logan Reserve. Construction recently began on a large over-50s residential development by AVID Property Group, following demand for age-friendly living options in the region.
The new community is expected to deliver 376 purpose-built homes tailored to the needs of mature residents, providing modern, flexible living spaces within a connected neighbourhood. AVID says these communities often become social hubs where residents share experiences and build friendships as they enjoy a new stage of life.
With more than 35 per cent of Queensland’s population aged 50 or older, developments like this reflect evolving housing needs and an increased focus on lifestyle and community for older adults.
This project brings new opportunities for seniors who want to remain close to local services and social connections while enjoying a supportive, vibrant community environment.
