Logan residents are invited to celebrate World Wildlife Day on Sunday, March 1, with a morning of hands-on activities hosted by Logan City Council.
The free Wildlife Wise event will offer interactive experiences designed for animal lovers of all ages, with a focus on learning about and protecting native species. Children aged five and over can enjoy meeting native animals up close and taking part in engaging nature-based activities guided by experienced wildlife educators.
An additional education session tailored for teens and adults aged 13 and over will provide deeper insights into local wildlife and conservation, making it an ideal outing for families looking to learn together.
The event will begin at 9:30am at Tudor Park Community Centre in Loganholme.
While attendance is free, bookings are required to secure a place. Residents can register their interest online via Eventbrite.
The initiative aims to inspire greater awareness and appreciation of local wildlife while encouraging the community to play an active role in protecting the region’s natural environment.
