Families searching for ways to keep children active these school holidays can look to the upcoming program at the Gold Coast Recreation Precinct, offering a week of outdoor adventure and hands-on fun.
Running from April 7 to 14, the full-day program caters to children aged five to 16, with activities designed to build confidence, teamwork and physical skills in a safe, supervised environment. From high ropes and canoeing to archery and beach games, the schedule is packed with options to suit a range of ages and interests.
Younger participants can enjoy creative play and introductory activities, while older groups tackle more challenging experiences such as abseiling, kayaking and giant swings. Traditional Indigenous games are also included, adding a cultural element to the program.
Sessions run from 9am to 3.30pm, with supervised drop-off and pick-up times available.
With a focus on keeping kids active and engaged, the program is expected to be popular among Gold Coast families looking for affordable and memorable holiday experiences.
