Redland City Council has enhanced its disaster dashboard to provide residents with daily updates on fuel availability and pricing across the region.
The new feature integrates data from the Queensland Government, giving the Redlands Coast community access to real-time information on fuel types and costs at service stations on the mainland and North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah).
Mayor Jos Mitchell said the update would help residents make informed decisions, particularly during emergencies or natural disasters when fuel access can become limited.
The dashboard allows users to quickly identify where fuel is available and compare prices across multiple locations, improving convenience and preparedness.
This added transparency aims to support the community in staying informed and better equipped during times of disruption.
Residents are encouraged to utilise the dashboard as a reliable tool for planning travel and managing fuel needs across the region.
