Logan residents of all ages are being invited to celebrate the city through art as part of the Love Logan 2 Community Art Exhibition.
Following the success of the first exhibition, Logan Art Gallery is again calling on locals to create artworks reflecting the people, places, cultures, memories and experiences that make Logan special.
Participants can create a small artwork inspired by something they love about the city, from favourite parks and landmarks to community connections and personal memories.
Participation is free and open to everyone, regardless of artistic experience. While painting is encouraged, the exhibition will also accept drawing, photography, sculpture, textiles, mixed media and digital artworks, provided they fit within the 20cm by 20cm canvas.
Registered participants will receive a free canvas, available for collection between September 12 and December 23, 2026. Completed artworks must then be delivered to Logan Art Gallery between January 5 and 16, 2027.
The exhibition will be held at Logan Art Gallery from January 30 to April 3, 2027, before artworks are displayed at various venues across Logan.
Works will remain on loan for a year, with participants expected to collect their artwork in early 2028.
