A major new motorsport attraction is taking shape on the northern Gold Coast, with Clutch Racing set to become Australia’s largest racing simulation venue when it opens later this year.
The $700 million development, currently under construction in the Foxwell Coomera precinct, will feature 24 premium racing simulators—making it the biggest facility of its kind in the country. Designed to deliver a high-end, Formula 1-style experience, the venue will cater to everyone from casual fans to serious sim racing competitors.
Positioned opposite Westfield Coomera, the complex will also include a full-service bar, kitchen and advanced audiovisual system, allowing visitors to watch major motorsport events in an immersive environment.
Construction has progressed rapidly, with the concrete slab completed in March and structural works now underway. The project is being delivered by builder SJ Higgins as part of a broader precinct developed by Keylin and Kinstone Group.
Clutch Racing is expected to open in October 2026, strategically timed to align with major events such as the Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 500.
Once complete, the venue is set to become a key entertainment and sporting destination, boosting the region’s growing reputation in motorsport and immersive experiences.
