Four men have been charged following a major police operation targeting a transnational organised crime syndicate allegedly trafficking large quantities of illicit drugs across Australia.
Operation Xray Skywalk, launched in August 2025, uncovered a network believed to be coordinating drug distribution across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Police allege the syndicate’s leaders directed operations from offshore using encrypted communications.
In coordinated raids on April 22, officers executed 12 search warrants across southeast Queensland, including properties in Logan, Yarrabilba and Upper Mount Gravatt. Authorities seized an estimated $20 million worth of drugs, including 90 kilograms of cocaine, 16 kilograms of methylamphetamine, 311 kilograms of ketamine and 58 kilograms of MDMA.
Investigators also located commercial-scale laboratory equipment and precursor chemicals at warehouses in Yarrabilba and Flagstone, believed to be used in drug production.
Those charged, aged between 25 and 41, face a range of serious offences including drug trafficking and production. Three appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 23, while one man has been granted bail to reappear in May.
Police say further arrests are expected as investigations continue, with 13 people already charged under related operations.
