Queensland Police are appealing for witnesses and public assistance following an alleged assault in Fortitude Valley that left a 60-year-old man with facial injuries.
The incident occurred about 7.30pm on June 13, when the Fairfield man was walking along James Street and was allegedly approached and assaulted by three unknown men.
The man received medical treatment for his injuries.
Investigators have released vision and images of three men who may be able to assist with inquiries. The men were reportedly well dressed and wearing formal attire at the time of the alleged assault.
Police are urging the three men, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward and speak with investigators.
Officers also believe two women who were in the area and witnessed the incident may have information relevant to the investigation. They are being encouraged to contact police.
Anyone who witnessed the alleged assault or has CCTV, dashcam footage or other recordings from the James Street area around the time of the incident is also urged to come forward.
Police say investigations remain ongoing as they work to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Anyone with information that could assist investigators is encouraged to contact Queensland Police.
The appeal was issued by Queensland Police Service on October 26, as officers continue seeking information from members of the public.
