Local seniors are being encouraged to connect, relax, and enjoy a cuppa at the casual Coffee Group held at the Middle Green Club in Greenbank. The next gathering will be on Thursday, 19 March 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with more sessions scheduled every fortnight through April and May.
The free group provides a welcoming space for seniors to meet other locals and form lasting friendships over coffee. Activities are designed to be lighthearted and social, with bingo and trivia included on alternating months for a bit of extra fun.
Organisers remind participants that while these sessions are casual, some practical considerations help everyone enjoy the morning safely: wearing enclosed shoes, bringing a water bottle, and dressing for comfort. For any outdoor components, a hat, sunscreen, and a towel are recommended. Sessions will not run on public holidays.
This initiative is promoted locally and provides a wonderful opportunity for seniors to get out, socialise, and stay engaged in their community. All are welcome to drop by, share a laugh, and build new connections in a relaxed, friendly environment.
