The Coomera Sports Park is set to undergo a major $11 million upgrade aimed at improving facilities and supporting the growing demand for local sport in the region. The project will deliver a second AFL field, upgraded LED lighting for Field 1, and a range of new infrastructure to enhance the overall sporting experience.
Planned works also include a new public amenities building, additional car parking, improved pathways, upgraded drainage, and enhanced access throughout the precinct. Landscaping will be improved with the removal of non-native vegetation and the introduction of native plant species to better support the surrounding environment. Nearby conservation areas will be protected throughout construction, with wildlife management measures in place.
Early works are scheduled from mid-November to December 2025, with full construction continuing through 2026. Once completed, the upgrades will provide increased capacity, safer access, and improved facilities for players, visitors, and the wider Coomera community.
