Logan City Council is offering free grant writing workshops to help locals prepare strong applications for the upcoming Community Project Grant youth round.
Grants of up to $10,000 are currently available for youth-focused and intergenerational projects, with applications closing on Sunday, March 22. The workshops are designed to build confidence in developing ideas and navigating the grant application process.
Two sessions will be held on Thursday, March 5, at the Beenleigh Events Centre. The first, Grant Writing Essentials, runs from 9:30am to 11:30am and will cover the basics of crafting a successful application. The second session, Writing a Community Project Grant Application, runs from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and will provide more targeted guidance for applicants preparing submissions.
Council says the workshops aim to empower local individuals, groups and organisations to bring community ideas to life through well-prepared funding applications.
Bookings are essential and can be made via the Council’s grant information sessions page.
