The Logan City Council has unveiled an ambitious long-term plan aimed at shaping the city’s future, officially endorsing its new vision, Logan 2075.
Described as the most significant planning project in the city’s history, the strategy outlines a 50-year roadmap built around seven key goals, including improved transport, a stronger local economy, sustainable growth and more connected communities.
Mayor Jon Raven said the plan reflects Logan’s rapid growth and diversity, and the responsibility to plan ahead for future generations.
More than 1,000 residents contributed to the vision through surveys, workshops and community panels, including input from young people, First Nations groups and local businesses.
The plan aims to guide how the City of Logan evolves, focusing on creating vibrant urban spaces, protecting the environment and ensuring opportunities for all residents to thrive.
Council says Logan 2075 is a shared effort that will rely on collaboration with government, industry and the wider community.
The endorsement marks the first phase of the Transform Logan program, with the next stage set to break the vision into practical milestones and track progress over time.
