Small Business Month Returns to Scenic Rim with Practical Support

Small Business Month is set to return to the Scenic Rim this May, offering a dynamic program designed to support local operators to grow, connect and thrive.

Delivered by Scenic Rim Regional Council, the month-long initiative features free workshops, networking events and hands-on business support. Topics include social media, grant writing, taxation, recruitment and emerging technologies, including an interactive AI workshop.

A key highlight is the Scenic Rim Small Business Breakfast on May 6, featuring keynote speaker Julia Spicer, alongside insights from local Business Excellence Award winners.

With around 5,000 businesses operating in the region, 98 per cent of them small, Council says the program plays a vital role in strengthening the local economy.

The initiative reinforces Scenic Rim’s commitment to building capability, encouraging innovation and supporting long-term business success across the region.
