Council News: Major Safety Upgrade Underway at Logan Reserve Intersection

Work has officially begun on a significant road safety upgrade at the Logan Reserve Road and School Road intersection in Logan Reserve, Logan City Council has announced. The project is being delivered as part of the federal Black Spot Program to improve safety for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists as traffic continues to increase in the growing community.

Mayor Jon Raven said the improvements will make a “real difference” for road users and help address ongoing concerns around road safety in the area. Construction features upgraded intersections and pedestrian facilities, with staged works expected to take place throughout the year.

Council has emphasised its commitment to boosting transport infrastructure and reducing crash risks across the city, particularly as population and vehicle numbers expand. Residents are encouraged to follow posted detours and traffic management while works are in progress.
