Logan Art Gallery to Host Free Twilight Celebration of Art and Culture

Logan residents are invited to experience an evening of art, culture and entertainment when Logan Art Gallery hosts a free twilight event on Thursday, July 16.

Running from 3pm to 8pm, the special Where do I belong? Up Late program will transform the Logan Art Gallery and Logan Entertainment Centre precinct into a vibrant creative space featuring live performances, artist talks, circus acts, puppetry and interactive experiences.

A highlight of the evening will be Living Sculptures: How the Birds Got Their Colours, presented by ARC Circus alongside Luther Cora and the Yugambeh Aboriginal Dancers. Visitors can also explore the interactive Birds of Australia STORYBOX, a 3D installation showcasing stunning Australian birdlife.

The event will feature a glowing lantern trail created by artist Pamela See and community members, live bird mural painting by PhilB, a Welcome to Country by Aunty Robyn, and performances from Edgy and Hedgy.

The Where do I Belong? exhibition will remain open throughout the evening, giving visitors extra time to experience the popular display.

Families are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the festivities, while Limelight Café will be serving hot food and drinks throughout the event. Entry is free, making it an ideal winter evening out for all ages.
